Moving on to Personalized Radio

Friends and relatives have kept me pinned down to the subject of digital photography for a while now, and I think we have a pretty good repository of material accumulated on that subject. So, I'm hoping everyone will forgive me if I move on to some other interesting things.

We've long had the idea that we should do short videos on tips and tricks that would be useful to almost everyone if they knew about them. Recently, we settled on calling these 'Short Takes,' and I added a couple of new ones this week. If you're really savvy, you probably already know about at least some of these, but I'm trying to hit the middle of the stream, here.

Now, the other thing that comes up a lot lately with my acquaintances is the subject of internet radio. Many are aware of iTunes, but most of them use iTunes to load up their iPods. It's a broad catalog of material, and very useful if you know what you're looking for.

SaveNetRadio.org But there's another kind of internet radio that I think of as 'personalized radio.' That is, you give it some clues about the kinds of music you like and it creates your very own personalized radio stations. You can create different stations for different moods, and share your stations with your friends and relatives.

After a considerable amount of playing around with some of the alternatives, I have arrived a couple of these that I consider the best. Watch this space for more.
